Unleashing a relentless coalition of hard-core and death metallic component with the preciseness guitar tone-beginning of progressive metallic element, Job for a Cowboy was formed in Glendale, AZ, in 2002. The pigeonholing was founded by vocalizer Jonny Davy, guitarists Ravi Bhadriraju and Andrew Arcurio, bassist Chad Staples, and drummer Andy Rysdam, and the ring cut their first alkali demo CD in 2004. Later that year, Staples and Rysdam left wing Job for a Cowboy, with Brent Riggs and Elliott Sellers severally stepping in as bassist and drummer. In 2005, the ring recorded a six-song EP, Fate, that attracted the attention of Arizona independent label King of the Monsters, wHO distributed the magnetic disc after an initial self-released pressing by the band. Doom earned a powerful bombilate in alloy circles, enhanced by extensive touring, and Metal Blade Records sign the band in 2006, reissuing Destine with a inducement track. Also in 2006, Arcurio dropped out of Job for a Cowboy, and new guitarist Bobby Thompson united the chemical group. While Job for a Cowboy was written material material for their first base uncut album, Sellers left wing the band, and Jon "The Charm" Rice became their new percussionist. Recorded 'tween road trips with manufacturer Andy Sneap at the controls, the group's first album, Genesis, was released in May 2007 by Metal Blade, with wads more touring to follow.

Pineapple Express Director David Gordon Green on Which Indie Auteur Hed Like to See Do an Apatow Movie Next

As we've proven mathematically with Vulture's infallible formula for predicting the quality of Judd Apatow movies, the chances of a film being a hit increase greatly when there's an unlikely indie auteur at the helm. It worked when Greg Mottola (The Daytrippers) directed Superbad, and we predict it will hold true for David Gordon Green, whose credits prior to the stoner comedy of the year, Pineapple Express, include two beautifully shot (and slow!) small-town love stories, Snow Angels and All the Real Girls.

But Mottola hasn't returned to the Apatow lair, and at last night's after-party for a special screening of Pineapple Express, sponsored by Three Olives Vodka and held at Tenjune, Green told us he's not coming back either. His next career move? "I'm going to take a nap and a dump," he said. "Then sit back in a hammock and have some root beer. Maybe eat chicken." We're not exactly sure why directors bask in the Apatow glory for one film only (prolonged contact high? The crippling effects of being too close to Apatow's genius? The fact that directing an Apatow hit immediately bumps one's asking salary out of the budget range for any future Apatow hit?), but tradition dictates that Apatow's comedy factory will have to tap a new indie director for its next awesome film.

So who would Green

Naomi Campbell Brands British Airways 'Disgusting'

Supermodel Naomi Campbell has lashed out at British Airways  bosses, accusing them of being racist and branding the airline "disgusting" - only hours after pleading guilty to assaulting two police officers on board a BA plane at London's Heathrow Airport.
The catwalk beauty was sentenced to 200 hours community service and fined £2,250 at a hearing at Uxbridge Magistrates' Court, in west London on Friday.
Campbell was arrested in April onboard a Los Angeles-bound plane following a dispute over her luggage, which was lost in the airport's recent Terminal 5 baggage handling fiasco.
The 38-year-old admitted three counts of assault, one count of disorderly conduct and two counts of threatening behaviour towards cabin crew at the London hearing.
And despite her spokesman Alan Edwards insisting the beauty was "concerned about her actions towards the police officers", who she pleaded guilty to assaulting, Campbell has no such remorse for the outburst she aimed at British Airways' cabin crew.
Speaking to Britain's Sky News after the court case, Campbell says, "As for British Airways, I don't apologise. I just think they're disgusting becausethere are people still waiting for their luggage.
"I have travelled with them for many years and I just think they have been harsh."
The model accused the pilot and arresting officers of being racist,
reportedly telling them, "You wouldn't be doing this if I was white" as she was escorted off the jet, magistrates heard in court on Friday.
And Campbell still believes she was targeted because she is black, telling the press how she was allegedly racially abused by BA staff on the plane.
She says, "I was called a racial name on that flight and that was part of my reaction - again, nothing to do with the police, but yes, from British Airways.
"I was called a 'gollywog supermodel'. I don't think that's really fair - do you?"
However, BA executives refute the model's claims. A statement released by the airline after the court case reads, "BA does not accept any allegations of racism. We are proud of our diversity.
"We have strict policies concerning dignity at work and have long-standing training programmes on diversity and inclusion."

Spice Girls play Cupid for Clooney

The Spice Girls have urged Hollywood star George Clooney to take Geri Halliwell on a date after he revealed that she is his favourite Spice Girl.
Clooney reportedly described Halliwell as an "inspiration" last week, inviting her to join him on his UN mission to Darfur.
Later, Halliwell's bandmates spoke about the comments during an appearance on US television show 'Good Morning America'.
Mel B asked for a date for Ginger Spice, saying: "She is single, take her out."
Victoria Beckham then added: "He should invite her out for dinner. Definitely."
Halliwell said: "It's very flattering knowing I'm George Clooney's favourite Spice Girl."
